Field Sales Representative, Public Sector, Google Cloud (English)

The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and build what's next for their business — all with technology built in the cloud. Our products are developed for security, reliability and scalability, running the full stack from infrastructure to applications to devices and hardware.

• Build relationships with public sector customers in the research industry to influence their long-term technology and business decisions.
• Add value as an advisor.
• Become an expert on the public sector research industry customers' business, including leveraging our AI product portfolio e.g. Vertex AI to improve their research productivity and capabilities.
• Lead account strategy to develop business growth opportunities, working cross-functionally with multiple teams and Google Partners, to improve business impact within Public Sector customers.
• Manage business cycles, presenting to executives and negotiating terms.
• Drive business development, own operational excellence, forecast, and achieve goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company.
• Experience working with the public sector clients, including government/research institutes/education entities in Singapore.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English to support client relationship management in the region.
